The Visual art Exhibition is a celebration of the students 2 year Visual Art Journey. During this journey, they research, analyse, interpret and create artworks. The study Art History and art in cultural, interdisciplinary and thematic context.

They produce a body of artwork through a process of reflection and evaluation and select artworks for an exhibition, articulating the reasoning behind their choices and identifying the ways in which selected works are connected. They explore the role of the curator viewing, the potential impact on audiences and viewers.

This year the 3 Visual Art students chose the title ‘Peregrination-a long, meandering self exploratory journey.’

They stated, “This exhibition is a culmination of our two year long creative journey and the struggle between creating art based on concepts versus aesthetics.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Haresh Shah, whois a renowned figure and is known for his contribution in the field of service to the unorganized sector. It was attended by our principal Dr Cyrus Vakil, the leadership team, faculty members, students from the school, and parents. Both Dr. Vakil and the chief guest addressed the gathering and spoke about the relevance of art in today’s environment.

The students explored diverse themes and topics and spoke about their Visual Art journey.

"The final exhibition was one of the most gratifying experiences I have had. It was a taxing process and I was perennially contemplating the arrangement of my artworks. I finally managed a flow and sense of continuity and harmony within the artworks. I learned a great deal about the different perspectives with which the audience was viewing my work. In retrospect, I felt that the exhibition was a mere culmination of the multitude of skills that I had acquired in the last two years of my Visual Art Study. The curation of the exhibition pushed my boundaries and challenged me to overcome all difficulties, and eventually present a show that I was immensely proud of." - YUKTI AGARWAL

"I have always been an interactive learner and in turn gave a lot of thought to the creation of engagement and interaction for the viewer. This interaction ranged from having the viewer becoming a part of the artwork. The greatest difficulty I faced was to consolidate and select an idea from a wide range. Her exhibition was one of the most joyous occasions in my life and I enjoyed the process of taking viewers through it.

I found the process extremely exciting and gratifying and made me think in ways, which broadened my entire outlook in life." - REANNA PALIA

"The final exhibition itself was an extremely rewarding process, as studio works came together in their entirety. Putting up these artworks; completed over a journey of two years of hard work and dedication was a fulfilling and exciting exercise for me. It was also interesting to explain the thought process and ideation behind each artwork, and to communicate this understanding with a diverse group of people. I also learnt to accept

various multifaceted opinions." - REET PATEL
